Team building Emebe
Last Friday, June 19, 2026, we held a team building event for the company Emebe, a machinery manufacturing company based in Valencia, which contacted us to organize a paella team building activity aimed at further strengthening teamwork among its employees and enjoying a friendly paella competition.

Paella team building competition: a different and participatory activity
At Original Paella, we organize different types of events, from giant paellas and professional catering courses to paella team building activities, a group activity designed to strengthen unity, communication and teamwork.
At our company, we promote these values through gastronomic team building experiences, where paella becomes the meeting point for all participants.
By preparing a paella, the teams share a participatory, approachable and different activity that encourages collaboration, organization and companionship in a relaxed atmosphere. This dynamic allows participants to communicate in a more natural way, setting aside the work environment for a few hours to enjoy themselves as colleagues, friends and members of the same team.
A total of 6 groups of 10 people took part in this team building event. Each team had all the necessary materials to prepare their paella, as well as all the ingredients provided by our team. In addition, participants enjoyed some snacks while cooking, requested by the company itself to complete the experience.
To choose the winning team, our rice master, who acted as the activity monitor and, on this occasion, also as the judge of the competition, tasted a small portion of each paella once they were finished and took notes on each preparation.
After the assessment, all the participants sat down and enjoyed their paella with their team, a well-deserved reward after the effort made during the activity. This type of event works not only as a team building experience, but also as a different, participatory and very special company meal.
In addition to being able to show off their rice-cooking skills in front of their colleagues, the winning team could also receive a prize. Depending on the type of event and each client’s preferences, the winning team can receive a special gift or simply be recognized for their work. At Original Paella, we offer the possibility of including a gift for the winners, although some companies prefer to prepare a personalized prize on their own.
This recognition is completely optional and can be adapted to the needs of each company, becoming a fun way to close the competition and reward the efforts of the winning team.
This was the case with Emebe, which chose to personalize some trophies for the occasion, commemorating the winners of the event and giving the day an even more special touch.
Once the activity was over, we collected all the equipment used and left the space exactly as we had found it, without leaving any trace of our presence at the facilities, except for the desire to repeat the experience and discover who would be the winner of the next paella team building competition.
