HOW TO INSTALL THE GAS HOSE ON THE GAS REGULATOR
In this article on our blog we bring you a brief essential tutorial if we want to know how to install the gas regulator correctly and quickly in our paella. After all, we don't want any leaks or stubbing our fingers while installing it.
We must bear in mind that what we are most interested in not only that it fits correctly, but that it has the greatest possible support, in order to avoid possible gas leaks while cooking. There are different ways and tricks to make sure that our installation is correct, we are going to see the ones that we consider the best.
One of the processes is to use hot water, for this, we must heat the water until it boils, when it is in this state, we introduce the mouth of the hose for 15 seconds. Thanks to the hot water, the mouth of the gas hose will have temporarily become softer, which will allow us to introduce it easily into the gas mouth of the paella burner, and when it cools down, it will do so with greater force in the gas mouth of the paella burner. From here, we simply place the clamps over the gas mouth, close them with a screwdriver and, to be sure, give it a slight tug, to check that we have closed the clamps correctly.
The second method is to introduce or smear with a little dishwashing soap both the mouth of the hose and the nozzle of the gas regulator. The soap serves as a lubricant for both surfaces, making it easier for us to insert the mouth of the hose into the nozzle by applying a little pressure. After introducing it, we only have to place the clamps.
As a third option we can use a hair dryer or a heat gun, similar to the first option, we use the dryer to heat the mouth of the gas hose to temporarily soften it, in this way a little push will suffice to join the gas hose with the nozzle, then we simply place the clamps to make sure it is properly secured.
I hope these little tricks help you to install your gas kit quickly and easily on your burner.
