World Paella Day 2024
They say that one of the best ways to prepare a dish to perfection, apart from knowing the recipe and its ingredients or practising its preparation to perfection, is to get to know the culture that surrounds it.
The master rice cooks participating in World Paella Day 2024 know this feeling very well, since beyond their kitchens and cookers, they prepare themselves before the event by exploring the most famous and culturally significant places in Spain, exploring emblematic places such as its orchards, cities and, of course, the Albufera itself.
Of course, any visitor seeking cultural enrichment in the art of paella needs to find the perfect equipment to prepare it, and it is here that these participants meet us for an afternoon, ready to learn about the latest in paella cooking innovations, as well as being briefed on the equipment they will be using in the most important paella competition of their lives.
First of all, the 12 participants, together with their assistants, arrive by bus to our tent, while we wait for everyone to leave and we can start this paella explanation, everyone present takes the opportunity to talk to each other and get to know each other.
Once everyone has gathered, it is time to find out about the equipment that will be used in the competition. Our paella masters and specialists will inform you about the characteristics and peculiarities of each piece of equipment, we don't want anyone to leave without knowing perfectly how their equipment works.
With the knowledge of the competition team, it's time for a lesson in paella novelties, from recipe books and cookbooks, full of techniques and innovative and classic rice recipes, utensils and super useful accessories, such as the easy paella magnet or the rice pipette, without forgetting to talk about the latest in paella fashion, such as the llaunas - popularly known as rectangular paella pans - which allow extra fine rice dishes to be made.
